CASA FLOR
Hotel Boutique

In the heart of the coastal forest, merely a stone's throw from the sea, where the sound of waves blends with the whispering ocean breeze caressing the treetops, Casa Flor emerges as a sanctuary that inspires profound tranquility and relaxation, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable retreat.

Casa Flor is an oasis that was meticulously designed to seamlessly blend style, modernity, and sophositication to create a perfect hideaway nestled amongst its natural environment.

THE AREA

Beach

In La Barra, the atmosphere blends a relaxed, surf driven energy with a refined culinary scene and some of the region’s best specialty coffee.

In Manantiales, the rhythm softens, shaped by the coastal ease of Playa Bikini and a collection of understated restaurants centered around fresh, local ingredients.

Just a 20 minutes drive from José Ignacio, it brings you close to the coast’s most sought-after destinations, yet always returns you to calm, privacy, and a slower pace.

ART SCENE

At Casa Flor, we work with local artists. Throughout the hotel, you will find oil painted beach scenes by Nicolas Caubarrere, colorful paintings by Bruno Ruggiero, inspired by the relationship between the old, the modern, and nature, and photography by Flor Crosta, exploring daily rituals through human presence and the natural world.

BEACH AND SURF

Beach and Surf

Playa Montoya is just a block away, ideal for long walks and a refreshing swim.

For those who feel like going a little further, the walk along the bay leads all the way to Manantiales, best ended with fresh ceviche at one of the local spots.

Other favorites like Playa Bikini, Posta del Cangrejo, and El Chorro are only minutes away.

For those interested in surfing, our team are all surfers and will be happy to guide you to the best spots, depending on the day.

Everything you need for the beach is provided, ready to take with you.

DESIGN

Desk Detail

The architecture was designed by Alejandro Balut, in conversation with Julia Helena Piñero, the interior designer and the gardens by Lorena Ponce de León. The result is something that's hard to describe: modern but warm, the light and the orientation of the Hotel are a key. The hotel design combines modern with unique mid-century pieces.

The walls hold works by Uruguayan artists, paintings by Nicolás Caubarrere, Bruno Ruggiero and the photographer Flor Crosta. There's art, surf and literature in every corner of the hotel.

The common areas, the swimming pool, the outdoor terrace, the living room with its fireplace, are as good as the rooms. You'll end up spending time in both.
